Judges Comments

I very much enjoyed my judging appointment, it was a great privilege. A good entry of birds on show, pens laid out well which allowed the Moderns to show themselves off well. A very high standard of birds on display in some classes.
Thanks also, go to Jim Lockwood who stewarded to me.

Thanks again, best wishes Peter Watkinson.

***************

It was a very enjoyable day judging the moderns at the club show, with my fellow judges Peter Watkinson and Bill Paterson.

My strongest classes were the Pile Males with half a dozen exhibits all worthy of being placed. But the first two stood out by being very short and flat in back, to go with good colour and lift.

The Duckwing Females that were placed were again excellent exhibits. But the winner stood out, everything a modern should be, it went on to be a worthy best of breed. Congratulations to its owner Mr Graham Cannell.

Hope to be asked to judge again in the future, Howard Carson.

                                                       ******************
I'd like to thank the members for the opportunity to judge at the club show and also for the judges medal I received.
All the modern Game fanciers are to be congratulated on the excellent show of birds.
Bill Paterson.
