Other Comments

Our days in Stafford were a true pleasure. Meeting all these beautiful birds and their, likewise handsome owners was exciting as always. Devoted members and a generous atmosphere are surely the best assets of the Club.

We can see some improvements during the six years since we judged the Club show last time. First, the large birds have taken a very big step forward in just a few years. They are better in type and the numbers have increased. Well done breeders of large game! Second, there are more of high quality birds among the bantams, which made judging more challenging, as well as more interesting.
We are grateful for all the hospitality and honoured by the invitation to judge, and we would like to warmly thank the Wetter’s family for taking care of us in such a good way the day before the show

The audited accounts were circulated and again it was reported that the Club was in a healthy state financially and so subscriptions can stay as they are for another year. 150 copies of the MG standards book had been purchased for £375 although this won’t show up until next years accounts. The accounts were proposed to be accepted, seconded and unanimously carried Jennifer reported her wish to remain on the committee as treasurer and membership secretary
